Onward! A Legacy of Hope and Heritage

Marina's most recent publication can be found in Ventura College's centennial anthology, collected and published by Professor Fernando Albert Salinas. Professor Salinas is an incredible teacher who pushes his students outside of their creative comfort zones while encouraging publication. Marina's poems "lemon bars" and "The Kitchen Table" honor the legacy and history that has shaped her into the author she is now.
